Karen – Dental Hygienist
Karen is dedicated to helping her patients achieve optimal dental health through thorough hygiene appointments and clear education tailored to each patient’s current oral health situation. She has worked at Cape Cottage Dental for 20 years and has a loyal patient following, with good reason! When not caring for her patients she enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially her growing brood of grandbabies. Ask her to share pictures of these children as they are adorable!
Jackie – Dental Hygienist
A native of Massachusetts, Jackie graduated from the UNE Dental Hygiene School. Since coming to Cape Cottage Dental, Jackie has been dedicated to furthering her skill set and putting her classroom experience into everyday practice. Jackie is a calm, caring practitioner who is committed to providing her patients with the highest quality dental care possible. When not at work she enjoys cooking and spending time with family and friends.
Megan – Dental Hygienist
A graduate of the UNE Dental Hygiene School, Megan comes to the office each morning dedicated to using her positive outlook and energy to provide each patient with comprehensive care in a judgement free zone. A favorite quote heard from her room is “that’s ok – we will work on this together!” When not enjoying herself while caring for patients, Megan can be found camping, hiking, skiing and hitting the gym.
Kathryn – Dental Hygienist/Assistant
A Maine native, Kathryn is a graduate of the UNE Dental School. She is our multi-tasking dynamo, splitting her time between quality ongoing dental care as a hygienist and assisting our Doctors on both routine and complex cases. She is committed to providing excellent patient experience whether that is a routine dental cleaning or a restorative appointment. When not at the office Kathryn can be found at the gym, with friends or enjoying the Maine outdoors.
Niki – Dental Assistant
Niki is a Maine native who came to Cape Cottage Dental via Aspen, Colorado, where she worked as a dental assistant for XXX years. After enjoying the skiing, hiking and camping that Colorado offered, she and her husband returned to Maine to be closer to family. Niki has extensive experience with the Physiologic Based Dentistry practiced by Dr. Nelson and can be found by her side for these cases. When not at work Niki can be found coaching ski racing and enjoying the outdoors in all four Maine seasons with her husband and son.
Rebecca – Dental Assistant
Rebecca has extensive assisting experience in both Massachusetts and Maine and came to us from a dental office in Portland that also practices Physiologic Based Dentistry. Her calm, professional demeanor enhances the patient experience while providing our Doctors excellent assistance. Rebecca lives in Cape Elizabeth with her four school aged children; when not at work she stays busy keeping up with them and creating quality family time. Ask her about their Australian Labradoodle, and make sure she shows you pictures!
