Kathryn – Dental Hygienist/Assistant
A Maine native, Kathryn is a graduate of the UNE Dental School. She is our multi-tasking dynamo, splitting her time between quality ongoing dental care as a hygienist and assisting Dr. Nelson on both routine and complex cases. She is committed to providing excellent patient experience whether that is a routine dental cleaning or a restorative appointment. When not at the office Kathryn can be found at the gym, with friends or enjoying the Maine outdoors.
Niki – Dental Assistant
Niki is a Maine native who came to Cape Cottage Dental via Aspen, Colorado, where she worked as a dental assistant for 14 years. After enjoying the skiing, hiking and camping that Colorado offered, she and her husband returned to Maine to be closer to family. Niki has extensive experience with the Physiologic Based Dentistry practiced by Dr. Nelson and can be found by her side for these cases. When not at work Niki can be found coaching ski racing and enjoying the outdoors in all four Maine seasons with her husband and son.
